Cik svarīgs ir miegs?

Simply put, without enough sleep, the brain cannot function properly. The following story perfectly demonstrates it.

Vienkārši sakot, bez pietiekami daudzuma miega smadzenes nevar darboties pareizi. Sekojošais stāsts to lieliski parāda.

On Friday I had an interesting dream. Then I woke up and went to work as usual. The first thing that happened to me was that I was promoted to a new position as project manager. Previously I was nobody, now I was the big boss. What would you do if you received such power?

Piektdien man bija interesants sapnis. Tad es pamodos un devos uz darbu kā parasti. Pirmais, kas ar mani notika, bija tas, ka mani paaugstināja jaunā projekta vadītāja amatā. Iepriekš es biju nekas, tagad es biju lielais priekšnieks. Ko jūs darītu, ja saņemtu tādu varu?

Certainly, being in charge now, I had to do something to show everyone that I am actually working. The first thing I did was firing all of my colleagues and the previous manager. The second - was buying new office furniture just to be able to work better and the third - was hiring a new assistant who could do the job for me. Now, look at me! Do you see how good I am with planning things through? Am I not an excellent manager? Later on the same day, I received a letter. I opened it and the note inside read: "You are still sleeping, wake up!"

Protams, esot par atbildīgo tagad, man bija kaut kas jādara, lai visiem parādītu, ka es patiesībā strādāju. Pirmais, ko izdarīju, atlaidu visus savus kolēģus un iepriekšējo vadītāju. Otrais - bija jaunu biroja mēbeļu iegāde, tikai tāpēc, lai varētu strādāt labāk, un trešais - nolīgu jaunu palīgu, kurš varētu paveikt darbu manā vietā. Paskaties nu uz mani! Vai redzat, cik labs plānotājs esmu? Vai gan es neesmu izcils vadītājs? Vēlāk, tajā pašā dienā, es saņēmu vēstuli. Es to atvēru, un zīmītē iekšā bija rakstīts: "Tu joprojām guli, mosties!"

And instantly I was back in my bedroom. End of story!
